Otto is committed to science-based targets. Accordingly, current emissions in procurement logistics are to be tracked and reduced. Otto wants to track and reduce emissions in land freight as part of the Science-based Targets Initiative. The primary focus will be on procurement logistics, as this is where the greatest savings potential is seen. In the next step, our goal is exploratory sourcing of start-up solutions in the area of emissions reduction in procurement logistics with the Scaleup Landing Pad Hamburg. Possible solutions can initially relate to one component of an idea solution.
